hi everyone! I’m back with some more of pixie dust’s “christmas in paris” kit goodness:) I don’t have cute little ones running around, but we did just get a new puppy. I love her pinkness, and did a scrapbook page of her first picture. this kit has tons of die cuts and on this page, I used the “happy”, pink roses and the blue “I believe in pink die cuts.
I found an old yellow canvas with a chicken print on it at a resale store—only $3. I really liked the ornate corners, so, I painted the whole thing cream and antiqued it, and now, the page hangs in my hallway.
I scallop punched the prima bkgd paper and stitched it down. the pink picture mat is some of the crate paper, in this kit. her name –bailey- was added using the glitz pink letters. and the pretty pink seam binding—that’s in the kit, too!

hi everyone, I’m finishing up my xmas projects and first up is my new headboard.
I found this old mantel last year at an antique/junk store.
I just got around to doing something with it—my husband filled in the opening with bead board, and I painted it.—I just love it!
and for what on tap tuesday, --here’s my desk. the tin is full of stuff I need to sort and organize and the pattern is a cute gift card holder that I need to make. you can find here, along with instructions.
this time of year, you need lots of containers to hold all of the goodies you make. this is a paper “bowl”, that uses 1- 12”x12” sheet of paper and a scrap of ribbon. AND only takes a couple minutes to make and holds a lot! here’s a tutorial for it.
and this is a project I made last year, too– I use them for xmas name tags on packages. all you need is a few paint sticks and a free digi download to make these. here’s a tutorial for them.

can you believe xmas is just a week away? here’s my lights during the day and night.
and my tree decorated with my leftover tags, and bags, banners I’ve during the last year. it sits in my dining room corner.
and here are a few a the pictures from our neighborhood stroll. there were about 30 gorgeous houses, all lite up:)
this one was by far my favorite. it just glowed. this house was huge—I think my whole house would fit it this garage!
all of the trees on both sides on the street were lit up.

today, for my guest spot over at pixie dust paperie, I have used 3 different papers and a ribbon from in the “christmas in paris” kit. the burgundy paper was embossed with a hounds tooth pattern and scalloped punched. and green cardstock was die cut with a stocking. the cute echo park paper was ruffled and topped with some pretty ribbon that comes in the kit.
and I used some of the scraps to make a 4” x 4” gift box.

we are going to check out xmas lights tonight—love it! there are a lot more outdoor lights this year, in our area. I’ll show pics –if they turn out well. the lights and music are my favorite part of this season. hope you can find time to enjoy both:)

hi everyone! I’m working with pixie dust paperie’s christmas in paris kit, again. I love the colors on this graphic 45 paper and paired it here with some teal echo park paper. the reverse side of the graphic 45 paper is full of gorgeous die cut shapes to use in your projects. (the bfly embellishment on my card, is one of those shapes).
I also added one of the pretty charms in the christmas in paris kit. the sweet ribbon is from my october kit—blue moon. I love how you can mix and match these kits and they blend beautifully together:)

this cone ornament was so fun to make! I used floral papers and a die cut rose from the christmas in paris kit. the rose was fussy cut from a larger group of roses and attached with foam dots. the great sheet music paper is from the blue moon kit.
I’ll be back with more from this wonderful kit soon!
