I’m showing these for flashback friday 17—to show your first banner.
checking back, my first actual banner, below, was done last christmas-2010. and this is the first banner I did on a card-(done september 2010).
the papers are oct. afternoon, and i used a new banner punch (archivers). there is orange jillibean twine holding the banner all together.
the background stamp is unitys-worn grid, stamped in avocado ink, and then, some white paint edges the kraft. the funky sentiment is from unitys august kotm.
i used square envelopes to make this little banner for my fireplace last year. first, the flap was cut off, and a circle punch was used to make the cut at the top of the envelope. i used a unity text stamp on the front, and inked the edges.
my big shot die cut the cardboard shapes that hold the hounds tooth chipboard letters. i stapled the back of the envelopes to checked ribbon. and, an insert was cut from the plaid paper.
have a great weekend, everyone!
