ippity happy bday challenge…

i finally got some b-day cards done for this challenge.

the first card has a flower with a cream fabric layer.  i distressed the petals and curled them  up.  the scallop border and flower petals were cut with my big shot.

 

i’m so ready for the new stamp sets release!     i added some piercing, colored the flowers with copics and added chipboard letters.

i uploaded this version (below) of the card to splitcoast (but once i saw it posted)—hated the busy background…its just not me.  so i carefully took off the busy background and added the rustic cream.  i love the second try (above).
