tuesday trigger-from winters garden…

my card is loosely based on color, but mainly the texture the inspiration pic shows…

 

 

a lot of steps to this simple looking card.

the base was created in my gypsy by welding duplicate shapes from winter wonderland cartridge together.  once created, it was cut out with my cricut.

the flowers were also cut with the cricut, using the walk in the garden cartridge.  flowers are 1”, 1 1/4”, 1 1/2”, and 2” in size.

next, i stamped text (hampton arts) onto the flower pieces (both sides) with versamark ink.  then, crumple up the flowers and add a brad in the center to hold it all together. (i didn’t crumple the last layer.)

the vines (pti-turning a new leaf) were first stamped using memento’s new sprout ink.  secondly, stamp the vines onto the back side of the green (homespun chic collection from gcd) paper, cut out the leaves and add pop dots to attach them over the new sprout inked vine.

and to add more texture, the twine bow was added, and the sentiment (pti-vintage picnic sentiments) using desert sand ink-ctmh.
