inspire me challenge #5-recycle…

dawn’s challenge is here, and you have until 1-30.  she asked us to reuse, or recycle something that would normally be thrown away.

this is what i can up with.   i started with a piece of cardboard box, the lid of the box.  i peeled the smooth, top layer off in places, to get the corrugated layer to show through in spots.

this is what the cardboard looked like before i stripped it down.

the card base is papertrey’s rustic cream that i stamped with a heart stamp from the lifes little moments –ippity stamp set using versamark ink.  (this is very hard to see in the pic).

the sentiment is from ippitys’ because of you.

i cut the tag with my cricut, and i stamped the background with hampton arts stamp using black ink.  stamped on top of that is ippitys lifes little moments stamp in cranberry ink-ctmh.

round the corners, add an eyelet, twine, red string and silver heart charm-done!
