i tried a couple of things i hadn’t done before, with this thanksgiving card.
first, i added the berries on the wreath-(this idea was sparked by niki, a papertrey designer). her cards are wonderful!
second, i used my new gypsy to make the card a pop-up sentiment (on the inside).
for the damask stamp, i stamped it with ocean tides, and again in chocolate-(rocked it around the edges only). this stamp would be cute on the front of a card, also. all stamps are from papertrey.
gypsy info: to cut this design, i needed to weld a rectangle to the top and bottom of the word “thanks” in gypsy.
the cartridge was don juan. the word is 1” x 3.40” and rectangles measured 1” x 3.80”.
after cutting it out, i folded the whole design in half. that is the fold you see going through the letters.
then you score lengthwise down the middle of each rectangle. glue to the card and your done. just email if you have questions.
